Who we are
Waypoints Labs Pte. Ltd. ("Waypoints Labs", "we") is a company registered in Singapore, UEN 202643912W. This policy covers our apps and this website, waypoints.sg. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Our apps
We do not have an app on the App Store yet. Before each app is released, we will add a section here that says exactly what that app does with data.
Our aim for every app is the App Store privacy label "Data Not Collected". In practice that means:
- Your data stays on your device. What you keep in our apps is stored on your iPhone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Our apps do not ask you to sign up, show no ads, and contain no tracking or analytics code.
- Permissions only for what you ask. If an app asks for a permission, for example to send a reminder, it uses it only for that feature, on your phone.
- Purchases go through Apple. Apple handles all payments. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your card details.
- Crash reports. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us crash reports. They do not tell us who you are.
This website
waypoints.sg sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies, not even fonts. The only script on it is our own, for the animations. Our hosting provider, Vodien, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, page and time) to run and protect the service. We do not use these logs to identify anyone.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to answer you and to fix any problem you report. We do not sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list. We delete old emails once they are no longer needed.
Children
Our apps are made to collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our using it. In practice, the only personal data we may hold is an email you sent us. Write to us and we will reply within 30 days.
